Connect your Facebook account to wimgo
Connecting your Facebook account to Wimgo allows us to access the information about you and your friends for a more personalized experience. When you connect your Facebook account by logging into Wimgo, we request permission to access data from Facebook.
Through instant personalization, you'll see your friends' recommendations prominently. From the best local eats and places to shop to the best new movies and events, you'll see where the action is among your group of friends.
AND, we certainly take your privacy seriously - we will never share any of your personally identifiable information with anyone outside of the people to whom you've granted permission on Facebook.

We ask to access your basic information such as name, profile picture, gender, list of friends, etc. to simply identify you and your friends within the site and to help create your personalized experience on the site.
We ask for the ability to email you directly so we can periodically let you know about important changes to our policies or our site. We will never spam you or sign you up for recurrent messages without your permission.
We ask to access your data anytime so we can provide the most up-to-date, personalized experience possible.
We ask to access your profile and your friends' profile information such as likes, favorite movies, etc. so we can show local recommendations based upon these preferences.

If you have not granted someone specific access to see specific information on Facebook, they will not be able to access that information on Wimgo. Our goal is to help you confidently make decisions about where to dine, shop, buy, and spend your free time. We think showing you what your trusted friends think is important in your community is a good way to facilitate that. We only access your Facebook information for that purpose, and we will never use this information for any other purpose.

Get local recommendations from trusted friends
Once you've logged in, Wimgo will show you local recommendations from your Facebook friends. Since these recommendations come from people you know and trust, you can quickly make decisions about how or where to best spend your time and money. You already ask your friends questions like "Who does your hair?" or "Have you tried the new Mexican restaurant?", so why not see what your friends say all in one place. Invite them to join the experience too and you'll never have to worry if that mechanic down the street is reliable or not.

How to disconnect your Facebook account from wimgo
From your Facebook profile go to "Account" in the upper right hand corner and then choose "Application Settings". Here you will find the Wimgo application displayed. To remove the application entirely, click on the "x". Wimgo will delete all personally identifiable information for you and your friends. If you want to limit Wimgo's permissions, you can click on "edit settings" and uncheck the information you do not want Wimgo to access. We only access your information to provide the most personalized experience possible and will absolutely never share your info to anyone you have not granted permission through Facebook.

You can still use wimgo to find great stuff in your community without connecting via Facebook. However, if you are not logged in, you will not be able to leave reviews and ratings, see recommendations from your friends or upload content to the site.
